Introductory activities | The first session introduces the subject, describing the objectives, schedule, and how the course will be assessed. |
Lecture | Explanation of the contents of the course. |
Projects | The students will evaluate a use case scenario where biomedical data will be collected, processed, shared, and/or released, identifying any ethical and privacy issues, and propose a data governance and protection plan based on relevant regulations, good practice guidelines, and available technologies. This project will be conducted by groups of students. |
Debates | The students will discuss the ethical implications of scenarios proposed by the teacher. |
Personal attention | The students can ask questions related to the subject to the teacher. They can do their questions in class, through email, on the virtual campus, and MS Teams. |
