Students may choose to be assessed either on a final exam (100%) or on the basis of coursework (50%) plus exam (50%). In the latter case, coursework will comprise 10% for attendance and participation, 20% for a mid-term test, and 20% for a written assignment (6 pages). All students must do both papers of the final exam. 40% of all grades in this course will assess the level of the English used.
