This subject is structured around the following 3 mains objectives:
1. Acquaint students with effective instructional practices and the learning theories that support them.
2. Enable students to evaluate strengths and weaknesses in their own teaching style and to design strategies for correcting the weaknesses.
3. Enable students to perform effective oral and written communication.
Importantly, although it is a research master, it was considered appropriate to include a course where the student begin to learn aspects of university teaching, since one of the outputs of the research master's is a doctorate, a period in which most students have responsibilities as teachers . The second part of this course aims to prepare for that possibility.
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
