At the end of the course you will be given an essay topic which you can study at home. This will be for the "Final Class Essay" which you will write in class - but without notes. Further instructions are given on Moodle. It is very important that you check Moodle regularly. | 30% | ||||

Group Oral Presentation. You will be assessed individually, not as a group. Assessment will be based on Content, Structure, Delivery and Fluency. (20%) |

There will be three "10-question tests" throughout the semester. The tests will assess how much you have understood and learned from the topics discussed and analysed in class. |

Otros | WRITTEN SUMMARY of the whole group's oral presentation: Each group member will write a summary of the Oral Presentation. This will also be assessed at an individual level. Please follow instructions in the course Dossier on how to write this summary. |

For students who attend classes regularly but fail the continuous assessment: If the sum of all your grades does not add up to 50%, you will have to take the resit exam which will consist of a 20 question test (20 marks) + 4 short essay questions (80 marks). The date of the exam will be registered on Moodle. Regular attendance means not missing more than 5 classes. Students who do not attend classes regularly will be asked to do the following:
