The Master's Thesis can be performed:

a) At the URV itself or in another institution or company (the collaborating entity). In this last case, it is necessary to sign an agreement between the FEE and the collaborating entity.

b) Within a mobility program. In this case, the regulations for the Master's Thesis will be followed at the university of destination.

c) Within the framework of the Service Learning Program of the URV.

The student will design and develop a research project (in the case of opting for the research specialty) or professional application (in the case of opting for the professional orientation) in the field of international markets, with which it demonstrates the acquisition of knowledge and skills programmed for the subjects studied in the master's degree in an integrated manner.

In the event that the professional orientation student has chosen to do internships, their master's thesis may be related to these internships.

PRESENTATION OF THE MASTER'S THESIS:

The calendar and instructions for completing the MT will be provided in the Moodle space of the MT during each exam session.

The student must have the written approval of his/her tutor to submit the TFM.

When submitting the MT, the student must attach the documentation required in order for the MT to be added to the institutional repository of the URV. The MT will be added to the repository in line with the criteria established by the URV.

The student cannot include the name of their MT tutor in the MT document.

DEFENSE OF MASTER'S THESIS:

The student will defend the MT in public and in person (except in the case of MTs for which a confidentiality agreement has been signed). The defense periods of the TFM in each call are set in the academic calendar of the master's degree available in the teaching guide. The date, time and place of the defense will be published in the Moodle space of the TFM.

The TFM must be defended in the same language in which it was written.
The MT examination panel will consist of a president, a member and a secretary, who are all preferably teachers on the master's degree, and who have not been tutors of the student whose MT is to be evaluated.

The panel will award a single qualification that is agreed by all the three panel members.
Full or partial plagiarism in the preparation of the MT will lead to, among other possible consequences, a grade of fail (zero).

Students who do not agree with the grade awarded by the examination panel may file a complaint in accordance with the procedure established in the URV's Academic Regulations for Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.
