General description and relevant information |
The student must prepare a work, directly related to the subjects of the master's degree, on a topic of him/her choice. In this, the student will have to use both the knowledge and the skills you have acquired during him/her studies. It must represent a contribution, either of an innovative nature and must necessarily contemplate theoretical and practical aspects of the subjects, as well as its connection with professional and/or research practice in the field of the master's degree. The objective is to demonstrate that the competences of the degree have been assimilated and acquired, through the presentation of the final master's thesis, and its subsequent defense in front of a court. Master's thesis is an exercise of integration of the training received and will apply the set of skills acquired by the students. Preferably, the TFM will be developed face-to-face, since in this way the student may fully rely on the resources offered by the URV or another institution that hosts the student, both at the software and laboratories. However, it is also expected that master's thesis can be done virtually, as long as the theme and the environment allow it. In this case, all the training activities related to the selection/assignment of the TFM, coordination and monitoring, as well as the defense of the TFM, will be carried out virtually. Both the defense and the TFM report may be made in English or Spanish. The presentation and defense of the TFM will be public. |
