General description and relevant information |
Many materials of technological importance find applications in the form of thin films. The aim of the course is to provide an overview of the fundamental concept of surface and interface in materials and how we can take advantage of these aspects to develop nanostructured materials in a controlled way, and how we can modify their physical, chemical and engineering properties. |
