| General description and relevant information | This course deals with the study of (1) the syntactic functions and semantic classification of English phrases, (2) types, forms, grammatical categories and semantic classification of English verbs, (3) English verb phrase patterns, (4) traditional and theoretical/formal analyses of English verb phrases, (5) English active and passive sentences, (6) English affirmative and negative sentences, (7) English adverbial clauses, and (8) textual devices in English. | |||||||||||||||||
