  AC1 Have a good knowledge of specific methodologies and research activity in Mediterranean protohistoric archaeology, Greek and Roman archaeology and late antiquity. Acquire skills in the field of professional archaeology.
  AC2 Acquire theoretical and practical experience in field archaeology (prospections, excavations) and a good knowledge of recording methodologies and systems.
  AC3 Master the analytical methods of territorial archaeology.
  AC4 Master the analytical methods of archaeological architecture.
  AC5 Make an in-depth study of the material culture of ancient Mediterranean societies.
  AC6 Be made aware of the experimental sciences that take part in archaeological analysis: geology, landscape and fauna restoration, physical anthropology, and physical and chemical analysis of materials.
  AC7 Practise their technical (materials), topographic and architectural (excavations) drawing, and photography, and become familiar with computerised databases.
  AC8 Make an in-depth study of the ancient sciences associated with archaeology: history, classical philology, epigraphy and numismatics, and the history of classical art.
  AC9 Be introduced to current lines of research in archaeology.
