General description and relevant information

TEACHING WILL BE FACE-TO-FACE

For more information see the teaching guide.

If it is not possible to guarantee  completely the face-to-face teaching of the subject, a mixed / hybrid teaching scenario is contemplated.  The adaptation to the new situation will take place as follows:

  • Teaching: In this subject the teaching will be done through reverse classes. That is to say, the theoretical classes will be done at a distance and the presence will be used, firstly, to reinforce the more complex theoretical concepts and, secondly, to carry out the most practical classes.
  •  Assessment: The test tests will be replaced by individual exercises.
  •  Personalized attention: The personalized attention and resolution of doubts will be done by videoconference or other electronic means.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT

The subject deals with proposing and seeking the necessary tools to make investment decisions in the company. The  classic criteria for valuation and selection of investments (NPV, IRR, NFV) are studied in depth. The risk is then introduced into the investment projects and project evaluation tools are provided for viability analysis.
