Type A Code Competences Specific
  A1 Project, calculate and design products, processes and installations in all areas of computer engineering.
  A2 Manage projects and installations of computer systems, complying with the current regulations and ensuring the quality of the service.
  A3 Perform mathematical modelling, calculation and simulation in company technology and engineering centres, particularly in tasks of research, development and innovation in all areas related to computer engineering.
  A4 Commission, direct and manage manufacture processes for IT equipment, guaranteeing safety for people and goods, the final quality of the products and their approval.
  A5 Understand and apply ethical responsibility, legislation and professional ethics to activities undertaken within the computer engineering profession.
  A6 Apply the principles of the economy and management of human resources and projects, and the legislation, regulation and standardisation of computer systems.
  D1 Integrate the fundamental technology, applications, services and systems of computer engineering, in general, and in a broader, multidisciplinary context.
  D2 Undertake strategic planning, manufacture, direction, coordination and technical and economic management in the field of computer engineering related to, among others: computer systems, applications, services, networks, infrastructure or installations and centres or factors for software development, observing the proper compliance with quality and environmental criteria and in multidisciplinary working environments.
  D3 Undertake the management of research, development and innovation projects, in companies and technological centres, guaranteeing safety for people and goods, the final quality of the products and their approval.
  T1 Model, design, define the architecture, implement, manage, operate, administrate and maintain computer applications, networks, systems, services and content.
  T2 Understand and know how to apply the functioning and organisation of the Internet, the technology and protocols of new-generation networks, the models of components, intermediate software and services.
  T3 Ensure, manage, audit and certify the quality of the computer developments, processes, systems, services, applications and products.
  T4 Design, develop, manage and evaluate mechanisms to certify and guarantee security in handling information and access to it in a local or distributed processing system.
  T5 Analyse the information needs considered in an environment and execute all stages of the construction process of an information system.
  T6 Design and evaluate operating systems and servers, and applications and systems based on distributed computing.
  T7 Understand and apply advanced knowledge of high performance computing and numerical or computational methods to engineering problems.
  T8 Design and develop computer systems, applications and services in embedded and ubiquitous systems.
  T9 Apply computational, mathematical, statistical and artificial intelligence methods in order to model, design and develop applications, services, smart systems and knowledge-based systems.
  T10 Use and develop methodologies, methods, techniques, specific-use programmes, regulations and standards for graphic computing.
  T11 Conceptualise, design, develop and evaluate the person-computer interaction of computer products, systems, applications and services.
  T12 Create and operate virtual environments, and create, manage and distribute multimedia content.
  TFM Execution, presentation and defence, having gained all of the syllabus credits, of an original exercise undertaken individually before a university panel, consisting of an integrated computer engineering project of an industrial nature in which the skills acquired during the course are synthesised.
