This course target advanced and emerging semiconductor devices, which recently started to be used in commercial applications, or which are expected to be applied to commercial products in the coming years. Starting from the physics governing the behaviour of those devices, their operation is studied as well as their performances for integrated circuits. In particular, the course addresses devices for nanoelectonics, high frequency, high power and large area electronics: SOI MOSFERTs, Multi-Gate MOSFETs, GaN HEMTs, TFTs.
