General description and relevant information In this subject, the student acquires the essential knowledge on enzymes as catalysts in the biological processes. Given that the enzymatic action intervenes in the kinetics of the reactions, an important part of the subject is centred in the study of enzymatic kinetics and the conditioners of the reaction rate. It is also intended to develop the basic techniques of protein purification.
