General description and relevant information

Should there be a health emergency that requires the general public to be confined or which involves restricted mobility during the academic year, we shall attempt to adapt teaching and assessment. Should this situation arise, information about any changes will be given on the Moodle space for every subject.

The subject gives the bases (theoretical and practical) to understand the properties of a protein that can be improved, how to make these improvements and predict the effect of the changes made in the protein sequence on its structure. In this subject, the teaching will be mixed (face-to-face and distance, simultaneously). Thus, a model will be followed with the next schedule: students will be divided into two groups: one group will follow the class in the classroom (face-to-face) at the same time as the other group follows the class remotely (on-line).

Both groups will alternate face-to-face and online modes on established days. In face-to-face sessions, the limitations imposed by COVID-19 will be taken into account. In the event that the health situation does not allow conducting the sessions in person, the course will be conducted exclusively in online format.
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
