  Description
Introductory activities The course will be presented. The weekly activities will be detailed. The grading system will be explained.Minimum requirements for group presentations will be outlined and a typical exam will be shown as an example of what will be required to pass the subject.
Lecture The regular lecture will be based on two english documentaries. The first and long one will be close-captioned and the second, short one, won´t. The student will have a week to watch as many times as he needs the documentaries and take notes that will be allowed to be used in the exam.
Presentations / oral communications Students will self-organize in groups of 2 to present a theme/scientific event/scientist in front of their colleagues. The exercise will be based on a powerpoint presentation. Each member of the group will need to talk for 10 minuts (at least) on the subject. Content (not english quality) will be the base of the grading criteria.
Personal attention The students can ask the teacher anything about the themes discussed or presented in class
