Type A Code Competences Specific
  A1.1 Apply knowledge of business managment to technology companies and their functional areas while taking into account the multidiscplinary and ill-defined nature of the process of scientific and technical innovation.
  A1.2 Recognise the logistical complexity of technology companies, apply advanced techniques for managing the supply chain and develop new techniques in response to the challenges of technological change and ill-defined environments.
  A1.3 Analyse the financial situation of technology companies, including the national and international tax environment, whilst taking into account their multidisciplinary and changing nature in a context of technological innovation.
  A1.4 Apply advanced methods of theoretical and empirical analysis to company decision-taking.
  A1.5 Analyse the complexity of the micro- and macroeconomic and legal environment of technology and innovation companies in a changing and ill-defined context.
  A2.1 Design strategies for exploiting innovation.
  A2.2 Design and implement a human resources strategy that includes the management of human capital with social responsibility in the multidisciplinary ambit of a technological and industrial company.
  A2.3 Design formulas for financing and exploiting innovation on the international financial markets.
  A2.4 Design a marketing and communications strategy for technology companies that takes into account their nature and the environmental and social implications.
Type B Code Competences Transversal
  B1.1 Communicate complex ideas effectively to all sorts of audiences.
  B1.2 Adapt to changes. Modify behaviour and working method in response to changing conditions.
  B2.1 Lead and define multidisciplinary teams that can respond to technical changes and management needs in national and international contexts and in poorly defined situations.
  B2.2 Provide purpose and direction. Influence and guide others in order to improve performance and achieve objectives.
  B2.3 Create a suitable environment for personal development.
  B2.4 Pool knowledge and recognise the difficulties inherent in making judgements and taking decisions on the basis of incomplete or limited information, especially when such decisions require reflection on the social and ethical responsibilities of professional practice

Clarifications about competencies model

The competences model of the URV has been updated. The new model consists of the specific competences inherent to each degree, and the transversal competences, common to all degrees of the URV (which substitute the previous transversal and nuclear competences).

The current specific and transversal competences of this degree can be seen on this page. Even though the nuclear competences are also listed, these no longer apply, as they are integrated within the transversal competences.
