General description and relevant information

Proporcionar els conceptes i mètodes propis de la Direcció d'Operacions i del Control Estadístic de la Qualitat

	A4	Understand the main concepts involved in managing the productive area of the company.
	A5	Understand methods for managing subsystems: localization, lay-out and measurement of work. Identify the various systems for planning operations, understand their applicability, and use a variety of calculation methods: aggregate planning, Bowman and linear programming. Identify systems of inventory management and how they are applied: MRP, classic management and Just in Time Understand the main concepts of programming and controlling operations and can use various methods and algorithms. Understand project management and can use the main support methods: PERT and Gantt charts. They know how to use the software. Understand the main concepts of quality control and know how to use basic statistical tools: control charts and statistical analysis of data.

	B2	Collect the information they need so that they can solve problems using data and not subjective opinion, and subjecting the information at their disposal to logical analysis. Provide alternative solutions to a problem and evaluate risks and advantages. Analyze problems and their causes from an overall perspective and in the medium and the long term.
	B6	Structure their presentations and comply with any requirements should there be any. Reply to the questions that they are asked. Plan their communications: generate ideas, search for information, select and order the information, make schemes, determine the type of audience and the objectives of the communication, etc. Prepare their presentations and use a variety of presentation strategies (audiovisual support, eye contact, voice, gesture, time, etc.).

Problem solving, classroom exercises	Realització d'exercicis proposats, estudi i anàlisi de casos pràctics, anàlisi de l'empresa real, utilització del simulador TOC i realització d'exercicis, búsqueda d'informació relacionada, etc.

Activitats proposades durant el curs: realització d'exercicis, estudi i anàlisi de casos pràctics, anàlisi d'empreses reals, realització d'exàmens parcials amb continguts teòrics i pràctics, i búsqueda d'informació relacionada, etc.

Realització d'un examen de tipus pràctic, on l'alumnat haurà de realitzar exercicis d'aplicació de les tècniques i mètodes pròpies de la matèria.

Realització d'un examen tipus test amb preguntes relacionades amb la teoria i la pràctica.

Other comments and second exam session

Per la segona convocatòria es mantindrà la mateixa estructura d'avaluació i percentatge de qualificació que la primera. La qualificació de les activitats proposades durant el curs (30%) es mantindrà per les dues convocatòries. L'estudiant que no pugui seguir l'assignatura de forma presencial a l'aula, haurà de posar-se en contacte amb el professor, durant el primer mes de classe, per tal de conèixer les activitats (exercicis, treballs, etc.) a realitzar per obtenir el 30% de la nota equivalent a les activitats realitzades durant el curs. L'estudiant que no es presenti a l'examen (proves test i pràctiques) obtindrà una qualificació de no presentat.

No es permetrà l'ús o tinença de dispositius de comunicació i transmissió de dades durant la realització de les proves.
