General description and relevant information Asignatura que permet establir un model cinètic d’una reacció química a partir de dades experimentals. Conegut el model cinètic es pot fer una tria del tipus de reactor químic més adequat per a realizar un determinat tipus d’operació. Conegut el tipus de reactor es podrá realizar el disseny adequat del mateix establint-ne el volum, les condicions termodinàmiques de pressió i temperatura i el temps de residencia.També es tindran en compte les precaucions de seguretat que cal establir per a una operación correcta dels equips.

Learning outcomes
Type A Code Learning outcomes
 TI4 Can analyse experimental kinetics data and obtain kinetics laws and models. Calculate the parameters of an equation of speed using experimental data.
Can analyse the behaviour of the different types of reactor when used individually, or in combination.
Can develop and solve the models for heterogeneous two and three phase reactors.
Can define the dimensions of batch, semi-continuous and continuous reactors, both isothermic and non-isothermic, through analytical and numeric resolution.
Can consider the mass and energy balances in a system with a chemical reaction and develop the basic mathematical models for reactors.
