To achieve the ability to use current instrumental and bibliographic tools for the characterization of materials and surfaces.

1. Mechanics characterization of materials: Standards for mechanical tests.
2. Characteristic of the equipment. Main tests: Tensile, bending, impact , superficial hardness.
3. Non-destructive testing.
4. Inspection by ultrasounds.
