General description and relevant information Los diversos módulos del curso mirarán todos aspectos de la biotecnología, desde que el primer acuñar del término en 1919 a traves de los varios avances y los desarrollos hasta llegar a la nanobiotechnología actual. Nanobiotechnología es la génesis de nuevaspuntas de vista sobre como funcionan los sistemas biológicos, e igualmente, la nanobiotechnología dirigirá el diseño de clases enteramente nuevas de micro- y nano- artefactos y sistemas. Se resumirán las diversas técnicas de micro y nano- fabricación, y el concepto de ‘microfluídica’ será presentado. La fabricación de biochips y la fusion de los campos de nano- y bio- tecnología se discutirá.
