Test 2: -Text type as a factor: functional categories. -The cultural factor: problems, parameters and solutions. Test 3: -Dictionaries and their limitations. -Lexical problems: synonymy, metaphors and frequency of use. |

Segona Convocatòria will consist of a final written test on "Fundamental linguistic and non-linguistic aspects of translation" (all 6 topics) and/or Sample Analysis. Students will be notified previously of which part (topics and/or sample analysis) they will have to take. Course Translations 1 and 2 will count as in Continuous Assessment, provided they were submitted correctly for CA. |
