The course may be taken simultaneously with Translation from English II.
Note that students taking this course are strongly recommended to bring their own laptop to class.
This course designed exclusively for students who are able to attend every class. If you miss classes, you will drop behind (unless you are a professional translator who uses these tools every day).
Students should have professional levels of English and Spanish. This course will not be concerned with language teaching.
The role of Catalan will be negotiated in the introductory session.
The course will be taught by a team of specialists, including David Orrego and Carlos Teixeira. You won't see much of Anthony Pym. |
