COURSE PROJECT:
Students will be encouraged to work in groups and throughout the course write a powerpoint document about a topic of their choice related to Tourism and Geography.
Examples of possible topics include:
-Art
-Culture
-Weather
-Landscape (spatial planning, urban planning)
-Biodiversity and Conservation
-Globalization
-History of an area
-Intercultural differences and stereotypes
-World destinations and travel
-Describing the geography of an area (entertainment, regions, points of interest, etc)
-Local customs
-Environmentalism (climate change and global warming)
-Impact of tourism in urban and rural areas
-Health and safety
-Being a tourist guide
