Listening skills | To include: - listening for gist - listening for detail -following extended speech -using strategies that help understanding -interpreting speaker's attitudes |
Speaking skills | To include: - engaging in extended conversations - participating in natural discourse - expressing opinions and viewpoints - giving detailed descriptions and accounts of experiences - summarising - reporting gathered information - speculating and hypothesising - practice in producing phonological features |
Topics for speaking and listening practice A number of different topics will be followed and for each there will be a listening test and oral presentation. |
