Nutrigenomics is a subject that focuses in the molecular bases of the interactions between the genome and its expression. The Nutrigenomics concept is relatively recent and it refers to everything related to gene expression, variability among individuals and the influence of the nutrients or food components have in gene expression, linked to the appearance and prevention of diseases.
