 FINAL CLASS ESSAY
At the end of the course, you will be asked to write an academic essay based on all the work done throughout the semester. You will be given the topic to prepare at home. Nevertheless, the essay will be written in class without the support of material - either textual or digital. 		30%

 THE ORAL PRESENTATION consists of working in a group of four and preparing a topic to teach to the class. Each group member will have 15 minutes to present and deliver their topic. Instructions for the Oral Presentation will be published in your Dossier and uploaded on Moodle.

 THREE TESTS:
Each test will consist of 10 questions and will assess how much you have understood and learned from the topics discussed and analysed in class. The assessment will also be based on your language skills. 		30%

CLASS ESSAY. One essay to be written in class on a subject which will be related to the texts (or film) studied.

Altres comentaris i segona convocatòria

For students who attend classes regularly but fail ALL or PART of the continuous assessment:

You will have to take the RESIT Exam. If the sum of all your grades adds up to 50%, but you have less than 3 marks for one of the tests, you will have to take part of the RESIT EXAM (Segona convocatòria).

If you fail one or both essays, you will have to repeat part of the RESIT.

For students who do not attend classes regularly: you will be asked to do the RESIT EXAM or SEGONA CONVOCATÒRIA:

  • A 20-question test based on all the course material. (20%)
  • You will be required to write 2 essays on unseen topics. (50%)
  • Oral Exam: Based on the course material. Date of the Oral Exam will be announced on Moodle. (30%)
