General description and relevant information |
The main objective of the subject Literature and Society is to engage students in the analytical and comparative aspects of diverse literary texts in order to determine the mutual interaction between these texts and society. The course will discuss a wide array of texts written in English where language, ideology, and culture play a major role. Relevant contemporary literary and critical theories will be introduced. This subject combines face-to-face and blended learning in a percentage that has yet to be confirmed. When the academic year starts, the calendar with all of the planned teaching activities (with timetables and classrooms) will be available from the Moodle online campus for each subject. |
