Students registered at the URV follow the ECTS system and have the right to the examination sessions outlined in the current academic regulations governing undergraduate and Master's degree courses. Assessment for this course will be as follows. Online mode First call: One preliminary translation assignment 5% Three translation assignments during the course 30% One final translation assignment 20% One quiz on translation theory 5% One quiz on cultural and grammatical translation techniques 10% Completion of four exercise dossiers 30% Second call: Students will complete the translation of a text from Spanish into English and write a commentary on the techniques they have used to produce their translation. They must provide numerous examples of the cultural and grammatical techniques we have discussed in class. |
