Introductory activities | Introduction to the virtual platform, syllabus review. Explanation of the role of technologies in the workflow. |
Problem solving, exercises | The student learns to use assisted translation programs and translation memories through practical group activities: Translation activities with TM, MT and TM/MT, Postediting activities, Peer revision and postediting, Pre-editing activities, Empirical comparisons of the major variables. |
IT-based practicals | Students learn to create and manage databases through collaborative group activities |
Reading written documents and graphs | Students read and work on documents published in a variety of formats. The documents can be selected or produced by the lecturers so that students can develop the more theoretical competencies and acquire the knowledge they need for practical activities. |
