Methodologies

	Description
Introductory activities	Activities designed to make contact with students, collect information about them and present the subject.
Problem solving, exercises	Problems and exercises related to the subject are formulated, analysed, solved and debated.
Self-monitoring activities	Problems and exercises related to the subject are formulated, analysed, solved and debated.
Reading written documents and graphs	Students read and work on documents published in a variety of formats. The documents can be selected or produced by the lecturers so that students can develop the more theoretical competencies and acquire the knowledge they need for practical activities.
videoconferencing	Students apply the theory of a knowledge area in a particular practical context. They engage in a series of independent IT-based exercises.
IT-based practicals	Students apply the theory of a knowledge area in a particular practical context. They engage in a series of independent IT-based exercises.
Collaborative work	Students engage in group work. The main aim of this activity is for students to work together to achieve a common goal. All the members contribute their own knowledge and learning to the knowledge and learning of the group.
Personal attention	Every lecturer has time set aside to attend students and respond to their queries. Students can be seen face to face or use the subject’s online forum and/or videoconference.
