General description and relevant information |
Provide extensive training in metabolic, endocrine, digestive, hematological, oncological processes related to health and disease at both the physiological and molecular levels. The student will learn to integrate the different pathogenic mechanisms that are involved in the disease. Dedication to certain topics of health importance such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc. will be greater than that devoted to other topics of minor health importance. Clinical cases related to each topic will be discussed, paying special attention to the clinical data presented by the disease and the biochemical data. |
