General description and relevant information |
Blended subject: Throughout the course there will be 5 face-to-face sessions, one with each teacher to clarify doubts. The face-to-face session that is done at the beginning of the course to explain the program, the development of the subject and the evaluation, could be virtual (through Teams) if necessary. The objectives of the course are: 1) briefly review nutrients’ metabolism, 2) understand how different foods can act against drugs, 3) know how the response of patients to drugs can vary depending on their physiological and nutritional state, 4) understand the interactions between food and drugs that are most common and have most clinical relevance. |
