General description and relevant information |
This subject reviews some notable discoveries in the history of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geology (PCBG). Later, recent discoveries and epistemological perspectives of the PCBG are mentioned, with the aim of being able to extract possible teaching approaches and resources that may be useful in the teaching-learning process in secondary school. Information is acquired in different contexts and social situations in which the various curricular contents of the PCBG may be applicable. Examples of practical activities that may constitute a benchmark in the teaching of the PCBG in secondary school are analyzed. Knowledge is also acquired on how to integrate information and communication technologies in such a teaching-learning process. |
