This subject systematically presents a series of knowledge that are essential for the performance of research activity and that are either completely absent or are presented in a superficial and unorganised way in undergraduate university education. The aim is for students to acquire the skills and knowledge that will enable them to communicate the results of their research rigorously and effectively both to the scientific community and to the rest of society. Therefore, the aim of this subject is twofold: on the one hand, it aims to provide the necessary tools for students to be able to communicate the results of their research in writing and orally, and to this end, issues related to the writing of scientific articles will be addressed and the different ways of orally communicating research will be analysed. On the other hand, the aim is for the student to become familiar with the different activities aimed at disseminating research in order to facilitate the use, application and exploitation of knowledge outside the strictly academic sphere, whether by other research institutions, the productive sector or society in general. |
