General description and relevant information This course introduces the students into the different cultures of Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Attention is given to geographical, historical, sociological, and cultural features of these countries especially for the purposes of understanding their literatures. Special attention will be given to the cultures of Canada's First Nations, the Australian Aborigines, and the Maori of New Zealand.
