This subject focuses on environmental journalism and its relationships with sustainable development. Main contents are related to the environment, health, food, biotechnology and their links with science and the risk society.
Therefore it is a multidisciplinar approach to the practice of journalism that aims to prepare students both to plan and produce contents and to manage information for media and companies as well as for the whole audiences.
General concepts are provided at theoretical level; practices (essays, interviews and reports) are flexible in order to help students to plan and work in an autonomous manner and to accomplish the objectives of the subject through the course.
This subject is addressed to the students which aim to focus their career in the fields of the environmental journalism and the science and technological communication.
This subject will be taught face-to-face as far as
is possible within the instructions of the health authorities. At the start
of the academic year, the calendar containing all teaching activities (with
timetables and classrooms) will be available in the subject's Moodle area.
