General description and relevant information
The ability to communicate fluently in English is paramount . In general, much of what students have studied in English classes so far has to do with grammar and vocabulary , and usually students have had little opportunity to practice and use the language . Therefore this subject is to offer students an important opportunity to use the language orally.

·         Given the current health emergency, during the 2020-21 academic year, the Faculty’s courses will exceptionally and temporarily be taught in either a face-to-face, a blended or an online format depending on the regulations issued by the health authorities and any other competent bodies and if the spatial requirements allow it.

·         This teaching guide is provisional only. If any health emergency arises it will be adapted in order to comply with the directives issued by the competent bodies. Any modification will be announced via the news forum on the Moodle online campus.

If there is a new lockdown and/or any modification to the sections of the teaching guide, the adjustments that need to be made to teaching practices will be announced via Moodle.

This subject will be taught face-to-face as far as is possible within the instructions of the health authorities. At the start of the academic year, the calendar containing all teaching activities (with timetables and classrooms) will be available in the subject's Moodle area.
(*)The teaching guide is the document in which the URV publishes the information about all its courses. It is a public document and cannot be modified. Only in exceptional cases can it be revised by the competent agent or duly revised so that it is in line with current legislation.
