Textual Analysis I aims at providing the students with strategies to engage in a critical and analytical reading of literary texts. At the end of the course, the students will be able to distinguish between different genres, use specialized terminology with confidence, and interpret the meaning of a text and the effects produced by its rhetorical features. |
