Students have to demonstrate that they have read and understood all the texts. For the activities that involve research and the exploration of multiple perspectives, students have to bear in mind that PLAGIARISM (from books or the internet) IS CONSIDERED A CRIME. As a result, if this happens, s/he will fail the whole subject. There will be deadlines for all the assignments. The teacher will decide if she accepts any work given after the deadlines mentioned. -With respect to the 'official exam', (segona convocatòria), the student will have 2 hours to develop two argumentative essays dealing with the contents of the programme. The student will also have to hand in a paper based on the compulsory novel Fasting, Feasting. The paper will have to follow the guidelines given in the photocopiable materials that the student has to buy for the course. The paper will be 40% of the total grade.
