Metodologies

	Descripció
Activitats Introductòries	The first few classes will be devoted to a review of basic concepts.
Sessió Magistral	The lecture-based classes will provide students with the basic tools and units of syntactic and semantic analysis necessary to discuss and analyze the complexities of the grammar of English. Students will be expected to read assigned material before class.
Presentacions / exposicions	Students will search for authentic examples in order to analyze them using the tools and methods learnt in class. The presentations will take place during the second part of the term. Details will be given on the first day of classes.
Seminaris	The seminars will be based on the discussion and analysis of assigned material. Students will be expected to read assigned material and prepare exercises at home prior to class time.
Treballs	There will be a final written assignment at the end of the term. Details will be given on the first day of classes.
