General description and relevant information |
The immune system is a highly complex, highly coordinated and specialized system that aims to act as a defense system against external agents once they enter the organism. Through the programmed agenda the students will study in detail the immune cells, the serum components and the specialized organs and tissues that make up it. The student must acquire the knowledge of these components from the genetic, cellular and physiological point of view and how they are coordinated to give rise to specific and efficient immune responses. | |
