  AC1 A good command of physical organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry and the ability to use these as the basis for several aspects of chemistry, in particular synthesis and catalysis.
  AC2 A good knowledge of organometalic chemistry and of the preparation of organometalic compounds, their reactivity and their application in organic synthesis and in the design of homogenous catalysts.
  AC3 The ability to properly apply advanced methodologies in organic synthesis, including stereo- and enantioselective methods.
  AC4 The ability to properly use the characterization techniques for molecular compounds.
  AC5 A good knowledge of the methods for preparing and characterizing metallic nanoparticles and of the catalytic processes involved.
  AC6 The ability to properly apply materials with catalytic properties and to characterize them using modern techniques.
  AC7 The ability to project and to implement heterogenization processes for homogenous catalysts and to use strategies for recovering these catalysts.
  AC8 An understanding of the principles and of the most advanced applications of catalysis and the ability to identify which type of catalysis is the most suitable in each process.
  AC9 The ability to design ways of synthesizing new products using modern synthesis techniques, structural characterization (in chemistry and in physics), high performance experimentation, data analysis and computational chemistry.
  AC10 The ability to employ synthesis and catalytic system methods to design chemical processes for both industry and the laboratory so as to fulfill future standards of sustainability.
  AC11 A command of modern techniques for discovering and optimizing new processes of synthesis and new catalysts.
  AC12 The ability to synthesize and prepare molecular, colloidal, borne, soluble and insoluble catalysts on a small and large scale during a reaction.
  AC13 The ability to test the catalytic properties of any material in micro reactors.
  AC14 The ability to plan and execute R&D projects; that is, the ability to prepare basic and applied research, to carry out bibliographic searches in depth, to give information on chemistry experimentation in the laboratory, to draw conclusions and to write reports.
