General description and relevant information The course deals with five core issues: global dominance (the current hegemon being the US), processes of integration and fragmentation (with emphasis on the eurozone experience and the phenomenon of globalization), the relationship between integration and conflict, international finance (stressing the role of the dollar as the leading international currency) and development.
