Type A Code Competences Specific
  A1 Be able to write, carry out and sign projects within the field of telecommunications engineering with the purpose of the conception, development or use of networks, services and applications of telecommunications and electronics.
  A2 Have knowledge of taking measurements, calculations, evaluations, valuations, surveys, studies, reports, work plans and other similar studies in the specific field of telecommunications.
  A3 Have knowledge of, understand and be able to apply the legislation necessary while exercising the profession of Technical Telecommunications Engineer and be able to handle the compulsory specifications, regulations and standards.
  A4 Be able to analyse, use and develop technology within the field of telecommunications.
  A5 Be able to use the instrumentation necessary for telecommunications systems.
  FB1 Be able to solve mathematical problems that may arise in engineering. Have the ability to apply knowledge on: linear algebra, differential and integral calculation, numerical methods, numerical algorithmics, statistics and optimisation.
  FB2 Have basic knowledge on the use and programming of computers, operating systems, databases and IT programmes applicable to engineering.
  FB3 Understand and have good command of the basic concepts of the general laws of mechanics, thermodynamics, fields and waves and electromagnetism and their application to solve problems inherent in engineering.
  FB4 Understand and master the basic concepts of linear systems and their functions and related transformations, theory of electric circuits, electronic circuits, the physical principles of semiconductors and logic families, electronic and photonic devices, materials technology and their application in solving problems inherent in engineering.
  FB5 Have appropriate knowledge of the concept of companies, and the institutional and legal framework of companies. Business management.
  RT1 Be able to independently learn new techniques and suitable knowledge to conceive, develop or use telecommunications systems and services.
  RT2 Be able to use communications and IT applications (office automation, databases, advanced calculation, project management, visualisation, etc.) to provide support to the development and use of networks, services and applications in telecommunications and electronics.
  RT3 Be able to use IT tools to search for bibliographic resources or information related to telecommunications and electronics.
  RT4 Be able to analyse and specify the fundamental parameters of a communications system.
  RT5 Be able to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different technological alternatives for the implementation of communications systems, from the point of view of signal space, disturbances, noise and analogue and digital modulation systems.
  RT6 Be able to conceive, implement, organise and manage telecommunications networks, systems, services and infrastructures in residential (home, city and digital communities), business or institutional contexts, taking responsibility for the start-up and continuous improvement, and being aware of its economic and social impact.
  RT7 Have knowledge of and use the fundamentals of programming in telecommunications networks, systems and services.
  RT8 Be able to understand the mechanisms of propagation and transmission of electromagnetic and acoustic waves, and the corresponding emission and reception devices.
  RT9 Be able to analysis and design synchronous and asynchronous combinational and sequential circuits, and use microprocessors and integrated circuits.
  RT10 Have knowledge of and apply the fundamentals of description languages of machinery devices.
  RT11 Be able to use different energy sources, in particular solar photovoltaic and thermal, and the fundamentals of electrical engineering and power electronics.
  RT12 Have knowledge of and use the concepts of network architecture, protocols and communications interfaces.
  RT13 Be able to differentiate the concepts of access and transport networks, switching networks and packet circuits, fixed and mobile networks, and the systems and applications of distributed networks, voice, data, audio and video services and interactive and multimedia services.
  RT14 Have knowledge of the interconnection methods of networks and routing, and the basics of network planning and dimensioning according to the transit parameters.
  RT15 Have knowledge of the regulations regarding telecommunications on a national, European and international level.
  TEL1 Be able to construct, use and manage telecommunications networks, services, processes and applications, understood to be systems of capture, transport, representation, processing, storage, management and presentation multimedia information from the point of view of the telematics services.
  TEL2 Be able to apply the techniques on which telematics networks, services and applications are based, such as management systems, signalling and switching, routing and security (cryptographic protocols, tunnels, firewalls, mechanisms for payment, authentication and content protection), traffic engineering (graph theory, queue theory and teletraffic), pricing, reliability and service quality, in fixed, mobile, personal, local or long-distance environments, with different bandwidths, including telephony and data.
  TEL3 Be able to construct, use and manage telematics services using tool analytical tools for planning, dimensioning and analysis.
  TEL4 Be able to describe, programme, validate and optimise communications protocols and interfaces in the different levels of a network architecture.
  TEL5 Be able to follow the technological progress of transmission, switching and process to improve telematics networks and services.
  TEL6 Be able to design architectures of telematics networks and services.
  TEL7 Be able to programme telematics services and applications, in networks and distributed.
  TFG1 An original exercise that must be completed individually, presented and defended before a university panel. It consists of a project in the field of technology specific to telecommunications engineering of a professional nature in which the skills acquired during the teaching are synthesised and integrated.
Type B Code Competences Transversal
  B1 Be able to manage the activities related to projects linked to the profession of Technical Telecommunications Engineer.
  B2 Have knowledge in basic and technological subjects, which gives them the ability to learn new methods and theories, and the versatility to adapt to new situations.
  B3 Be able to solve problems with initiative, decisiveness, creativity, and to communicate and transmit knowledge, abilities and skills, understanding the ethical and professional responsibility of the activity of the Technical Telecommunications Engineer.
  B4 FacilitaBe able to handle specifications, regulations and standards that must be fulfilled.
  B5 Be able to analyse and evaluate the social and environmental impact of technical solutions.
  B6 Be able to apply the principles and methods of quality.
  B7 Know and apply the basic elements of economy and management of humans resources, project organisation and planning, and of legislation, regulation and standardisation in telecommunications.
  B8 Be able to work in a multidisciplinary group and in a multilingual environment and communicate, in writing and orally, knowledge, procedures, results and ideas related to telecommunications and electronics.
