General description and relevant information | This subject is intented to be an introductory course in finance. The aim of the subject is threefold: (a) to give an overview of basic financial concepts, like markets, assets, instruments, monetary supply and interest rates; (b) to introduce the mathematical concepts and tools being used in financial analyses and operations; and (c) to teach the basics of corporate finance, this is, how to interpret and analyze financial accountancy information.Because of the termination of the course you are studying, this subject is driven by tutorship.
