General description and relevant information

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The aim of the course is to learn how to design processes and products using advanced mathematical programming tools (LP, NLP, MILP, MINLP & multiobjective optimization) as decision-support tools for the design. The course will focus on problem-based learning, with a plethora of different, diverse, multidisciplinary and crossdisciplinary case studies. Environmental aspects will also be covered.
