The subject sets deep insight into the design process bases and faces the student for the first time with the dynamic forces that shape the city. The studio is developed around a broad spectrum exercise that articulates individual, group and class work with the requirements of a mixed typology, a sensitive urban location and the conflict between the Individual interests and the collective ones. The output is the simulation of an organic urban process, in the form of a highly resolved fully functional and formally satisfactory project of a neighborhood.
