The subject of Cosntruction IV is aimed to provide the student basic knowledge about the most common structural systems in construction and the tools to apply them to a project. Also providing a general knowledge of other less usedstructural systems. The program is divided into two parts: the structure,the foundations systems and containment. This knowledge is given from several ways: the characteristics of the system, theirbehaviour, the pre-dimensioning and design of elements and joints.

The course is scheduled to be taught in person and this presence will be maintained if the regulations that may be issued by the health authorities and other competent bodies do not say otherwise, and the capacity requirements allow it. If there are changes they will be reported to the Moodle space of the subject.
