Students will give a 15-minute presentation on a case-study of their choice. They are expected to engage with the conceptual framework and theoretical questions addressed in that week’s reading, making use of at least one secondary text from the syllabus. Students receive instructions on how to prepare for this beforehand and are recommended to work together. There is no re-sit opportunity for this assignment. | 20% | ||||

Students will submit three written assignments: (1) a book report (15%), (2) an abstract (10%), and (3) a linguistic diary with a reflection on the student's own linguistic practicesresearch essay (40%). | 40% | ||||
